IP Industrie. Our history, our people
"Our history is characterized by the desire to design and create the most suitable and elegant solutions to satisfy the most varied needs both in the catering and private sectors"

40 years of passion

It was the 1970s when the project for the creation of a structure for the conservation of wine began to take shape in the garage of the Iames Scazza house, in Castelnuovo di Sotto in the province of Reggio Emilia.

The idea was born from the need to raise awareness of the offer of different types of wine in the restaurant sector, as the proposals in restaurants were usually two: either white or red.

In the early 1990s, with the spread of the first shopping centers and with the appliance stores inside them, new products were designed. The first catalogs were totally home made and the different images of the products were photographs taken and developed by Iames himself in the darkroom of his garage, and taken around the world.

The turning point year

In 1995, helped by an Indesit engineer from Turin, he brought the first IP cellar to the fairs. In the same period, Vainer and Annamaria joined the project, and production moved to Coenzo, near Parma.

Thanks to the growing popularity of our wine cellars for storing and serving wine, we subsequently decided to expand our offer with new products.

Thus, from an idea by Iames and Vainer, the new humidor line was born, dedicated to the storage of cigars, and the delicatessen line for the maturing and storage of cured meats and cheeses.

A question of conservation

At IP we know well that every Italian region has its own wines, cured meats and cheeses that must be stored in suitable places and must be served in perfect conditions, at any time of the year.

In our cellars it is possible to find the perfect balance between humidity and temperature typical of the old cellars of the past.

Thanks to our experience, continuous research and the attention we pay to satisfy every request and need of our customers in terms of preserving the products of our territory, every day we are committed to the development and production of a wide range of high quality products, providing adequate and careful after-sales assistance and training to our customers on the preservation of the organoleptic characteristics of the products they use.

The high technology, the refinement of the shapes and the quality of the products, make our collection a high expression of Made in Italy, furthermore, the simplicity of use of the cellars does not require particular maintenance.

The IP cellars are available in various sizes and made with different coverings, adapting to any environment. To meet new needs, we have created models ideal for domestic use.
